【Ball Boot Test】: Mizuno Alpha Japan @hkgballboot

The entire shoe weighs only 190g, which is similar to the Mercurial Vapor (187g).
Puma Ultra Ultimate is still the lightest (160g)
All three are the most popular Speed Boot options on the market, and of course there is Adidas's X Speedportal.
Many people wear the Mercurial, but they don't necessarily trust their foot shape. I'm not sure if the Japanese-made Mizuno Alpha will satisfy me, but I'm not sure if the Nike or Adidas Speed Boot will. The official website describes the shoe as similar in shape to the Morelia Neo, but with different fabrics. I haven't tried them on yet, so I can't give you firsthand information. If there's any inaccuracies, please let me know. 🙏🏻

A foreign article mentioned that in recent years, major brands have been releasing various Speed Boots, constantly improving and innovating them. Mizuno has always focused on its kangaroo leather series. In recent years, the quality and reputation of kangaroo leather shoes have definitely been won over by Mizuno. With the exception of the widest foot type, Mizuno's other styles are generally instantly loved by users. Therefore, their new Speed Boot is worth looking forward to. We all hope that this pair will be a very good pair of shoes that will allow everyone to try out new styles.

Starting with the upper, the Mizuno Alpha Japan is comprised of five layers. The manufacturing process involves compressing and fusing these layers into the thin surface you see. This thinness is intended to evoke the feeling of barefoot play. The five layers include polyurethane materials: Engineered Fit Woven, Engineered Fit Frame, Engineered Fit Sponge, and Suede.

Engineered Fit Woven is a lightweight and soft new material developed by Mizuno.
The Engineered Fit Frame is designed to help keep your foot locked in during play and prevent it from moving inside the shoe. Adding a non-slip sock would be even more effective.
Engineered Fit Sponge is a thin material that helps improve the fit of the shoe

The tongue also has a five-layer structure. The shoe cage uses a fixed skeleton sponge and embedded ZEROGLIDE Alpha Mesh.

ZEROGLIDE Alpha Mesh is used to fix the heel position to prevent the problem of heel lock. This technology also hopes to give users a good lockdown feeling.

The sole is based on the Morelia Neo. Hong Kong has a lot of Morelia Neo users who agree that this sole and shoe style are suitable for a wide range of people. I don't have much to say about the sole, but this model uses a left-triangular spike with a mix of small and large spikes. This type of spike provides excellent grip on Hong Kong grass, but isn't as dangerous as the Vapor's arrow-shaped spikes. The triangular spikes are especially useful for turning, and they provide a great feel. For those who frequently make sudden stops and turns, this type of spike will be very helpful. 🙌🏻

Finally, the sole design uses a carbon fiber base plate to provide ample rebound to help users accelerate and feel the grass. It also incorporates Mizuno Enerzy, a technology that's been a staple in Mizuno running shoes. It provides stability at the heel while also providing comfort and helping to reduce joint stress during running. I think this is a very useful technology!

The insole uses left-side ZEROGLIDE Alpha Mesh, which also further reduces in-boot movement. The official website states that this insole configuration helps provide a more comfortable fit when you put them on, as it provides more coverage. As for the other empty spaces, I can see the logo, but it's all old. Sorry, I'll definitely tell you more if I try it out myself. 🙌🏻

These shoes have a lot of technology designed to prevent your foot from shifting, which means they'll fit perfectly. The upper fabric also has a nice elasticity to accommodate different foot shapes. There are wide feet and narrow feet in this world, and there haven't been any shoes that are universally compatible. I just hope they're a pair of comfortable, long-lasting shoes. I'm looking forward to your feedback.
