We previously reviewed the AG version of the Tiempo 9 Elite. This time, we're reviewing the Tiempo 9 again, but with the Pro version featuring a split-stud design. This is the top-of-the-line split-stud version. The Tiempo 9 Pro TF features similar materials to the flat-soled Pro version, so anyone considering the flat-soled model should check out this review.

The Tiempo 9 Pro TF features a soft leather upper paired with the same Foam material used in its current generation. The Foam material features subtle raised textures on either side of the toe box and along the inside of the foot. The soft texture and subtle texture are intended to enhance ball control. The tongue is made of mesh, providing a snug and breathable fit. The heel is slightly recessed and made of rubber, ensuring enhanced lockdown. For cushioning, the Tiempo 9 Pro TF utilizes the React cushioning material commonly found in Nike Boots.

I've played several friendly matches with the Tiempo 9 Pro TF to understand its performance. I'm most satisfied with its ball control. While the Tiempo 9 Pro TF doesn't use kangaroo leather, its combination of leather and Foam technology makes it easier to control the ball, whether on short or long passes. I believe the Foam provides a slight force dissipation effect and increases the area for ball control. Combined with the raised dots on the Foam, the ball control feel is quite ideal, though of course, it's still a step above the kangaroo leather of the Elite version.

Axel is also pleased with the passing feel of the Tiempo 9 Pro TF, benefiting from the leather and upper technology, which makes the pass feel quite stable, especially on short passes to the inside of the foot. As for long passes, Axel feels that he needs more time to break in the shoes. Initially, his long passes feel a bit stiff, but over time, the leather blends in with the sole of the foot and becomes softer, so his long passes feel better and more powerful.

In terms of shooting, I think the Tiempo 9 Pro TF is above average. I prefer the inside-of-the-foot shot. The leather material and Foam technology give it a better feel and a more pronounced arc. Regarding instep shots, I'd rate them as average, as the Tiempo 9 Pro TF isn't as good for creating beautiful shots.

Comfort is also a strength of the Tiempo 9 Pro TF. Its wider shape and React cushioning technology significantly enhance the comfort of playing football. The traction of the studs is adequate on carpet and thinner artificial grass surfaces, but for thicker and newer artificial grass surfaces, we recommend using artificial grass studs.

Unfortunately, durability is a concern for the Tiempo 9 Pro TF. I've read reviews online, and many have mentioned that the toe box easily separates from the sole. However, I haven't experienced this issue so far. Perhaps I'm not a frequent wearer, but the toe box of the Tiempo 9 Pro TF is prone to absorbing artificial grass particles.

Regarding the size, Axue believes it's neither too big nor too small, so you can just go back to your normal size. As for the shape, Axue believes it's suitable for those with medium to wide feet.
